TYPES OF LACE FOR BRAIDED WIGS
HD LACE
HD Lace for braided wigs are slightly thicker than HD Lace for weaves; kindly see the picture below for reference. HD Lace is undetectable, almost invisible to the naked eyes, perfect for black women of any skin tone. Please note that the lace is modeled after the color of your scalp, not your skin tone. Below is a picture of our HD full lace hairpieces; as you can see, it's 100% human hair. It comes with four combs, an adjustable strap, and a rubber band to hold it perfectly in place.
TRANSPARENT LACE
Transparent lace is undetectable, colorless, perfect for black women. See pic below for reference. Please note that the lace is modeled after the color of your scalp, not your skin tone.
MEDIUM BROWN LACE
Medium brown lace is the industry standard lace. It has a medium brown hue that gives it that scalp-ish illusion. It's perfect for black women of any skin tone. Please note that the lace is modeled after the color of your scalp, not your skin tone.
FRONTAL LACE
Lace frontal wigs come in sew-in or bonded installations. Lace frontal helps you achieve a more natural look for your wigs and hair extensions. They are often 4 inches to the back and 13 inches across, covering your hairline ear to ear. Lace front wigs are one of the most natural-looking wig cap constructions available. Lace frontal allows you to style your wig away from your face without having to worry that the wig edge is visible. This type of wig construction is ideal for ladies who have experienced hair loss along the front hairline, as the invisible lace gives you the confidence to style your wig exactly how you want to.
CLOSURE LACE
Closure lace usually comes in 4 by 4 inches in size and is used to close the front end of a wig. Closure lace for braided wigs has a breathable mesh cap.
OCCASIONAL TINY HOLE
PLEASE NOTE: That an occasional tiny hole on the lace such as the picture below is not a defect, and here's why, for us to tightly braid on a full lace material, we use little pins to pin the lace down on a mannequin, and sometimes little hole such as this is inevitable.
The good news is, this rarely ever happens, but when it does happen, the tiny hole will be on the front end of the lace, and that's the excess part you'll cut off during installation to style your baby hair. Thanks for understanding.
